Sky Launches ‘SME100’ Support Fund
Media giant, Sky, has announced that they will be launching a support fund for small to medium enterprises, aptly named the ‘SME100’.
Sky’s £1million SME100 Fund
This £1 million fund will support 100 SME businesses during the COVID-19 pandemic by providing them with free advertising via Sky’s very own AdSmart. The value of advertising per business will be £10,000 and the advertisement will run for a 30 second duration. This is an incredibly opportunity to combat the difficult times that many businesses now find themselves in.
Understanding The Power Of TV With Sky AdSmart
AdSmart from Sky is a platform designed for businesses to enable them to understand and harness the power of TV advertising. Now more than ever, people are watching television and films to escape the current climate we find ourselves in. With AdSmart, Sky enables businesses to not only enter the realm of TV advertising for an affordable price, but also they can be specific with who they’re trying to target. AdSmart enables businesses to specify a particular location for their advertisement to go out to, a particular channel or even the type of demographic that is appropriate for the company.
Finding A Marketing Agency To Work With On The SME100 Scheme
For interested parties, they will need to find a marketing/communications agency in which to work with in order to be eligible for the SME100 scheme. What’s better is that as part of this scheme, Sky are allowing brands and their agencies to tailor the demographics that they would like their business to reach via the advertisement. Here at GottaBe!, we are proud to say that we have experience working with businesses and helping them advertise across a range of platforms including television.
