Ocean’s £10 million Advertising Fund for SME’s

20th April 2020

Advertising giant, Ocean, has recently launched an advertising fund in a bid to support retailers and SME’s that may have been affected by the COVID-19 pandemic. The fund was established with a media value of £10 million. This opportunity will give businesses and brands access to Ocean’s screens nationwide, providing multiple advertising spaces. The aim in advertising SME’s across the 12 UK cities is to provide support to and hopefully encourage business in local economies in said cities.

Ocean’s Advertising Fund

Ocean’s support fund will be in partnership with Local Authorities and is more than capable of covering multiple advertising campaigns both in their city networks, as well as their roadside ones. The locations for this fund are the following: Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Newcastle, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Birmingham, Nottingham, Bristol and GottaBe!’s homes London and Southampton.

Why It Is Worth Advertising During Lockdown

You may be wondering whether it is worth advertising your business on Ocean’s city and roadside networks, what with lockdown and the significant reduction in movement of people. That is valid, yes, but what many forget is that not everyone is capable of working from home, meaning one in three individuals is still outside and travelling to work. There is also a vast number of people still travelling to supermarkets for essentials and some are still exercising in outside areas. Whilst brief, these excursions are frequent, meaning that Ocean’s network of advertising space is still a highly effective method of communicating your brand to current and prospective consumers.
