The objective of this campaign was to raise awareness of Jamie Magazine at the Ideal Home Show by engaging with attendees of the show and talking about the publication and its contents. It was then important that once engaged these event goers were converted into magazine subscribers.
We’ve had a few last-minute requests in our time but this one was on a different level. After being let down by another agency we were quickly briefed with a 2-hour window before the show start. Thankfully we were able to successfully provide two brand ambassadors within this time and jump to the rescue!
The event itself saw our staff working a stand at the Ideal Home Show to engage with event goers to sign them up to Jamie Magazine during the event through a simple sign-up sheet. For every sign up that was made the event goer was rewarded with a free Jamie Oliver cookbook. Another example in our many case studies where merchandising and gifting can be seen as an effective way to promote your campaign.
Over the period of the two day show more than 40 people signed up for an annual subscription of Jamie Magazine. We also assisted in the distribution of numerous merchandised goody bags to people who signed up to the magazine including Jamie’s own cookbook.
