Founded in 1934 by Keith Spicer, Dorset Tea is a British tea brand offering products designed to add sunshine to your day. From its humble beginnings, when Keith would blend teas in his Bournemouth kitchen, Dorset Tea is now a leading tea brand in the UK!
Objective

Our primary objective at the Christchurch Food Festival 2024 was to enhance brand loyalty and awareness for Dorset Tea within its local vicinity – Dorset.

The event offered a prime opportunity to connect with local consumers, promote product offerings, and gather valuable insights into customer preferences.

Mechanics

To achieve these objectives, GottaBe! Marketing took full responsibility for the logistics and staffing of the Dorset Tea Caravan at the festival.

The team included two Brand Ambassadors and one Event Manager who operated the Dorset Tea Pop-Up. Their tasks involved selling Dorset Tea merchandise, distributing sample packs, and serving a variety of Dorset Iced Tea and hot tea options to festival-goers. This setup provided a dynamic platform for engaging attendees and showcasing the brand’s offerings.

Outcome

The event was a success for Dorset Tea, achieving significant visibility and customer engagement in the local area. The event allowed the brand to connect with both new and loyal customers, gaining valuable consumer insights in the process.

Some key highlights:

  • Strong interest in iced tea, with many attendees purchasing boxes to make it themselves.
  • Distributed several hundred sample boxes, encouraging festival-goers to enjoy Dorset Tea at home.
  • Positive feedback from attendees, who praised the branding and enjoyed the strong, flavourful tea.

Overall, the event not only boosted sales of products and merchandise but also reinforced Dorset Tea’s brand presence in Christchurch.
