Dorset Tea
Our goal for exhibiting at the BBC Gardener’s World Fair 2024 was to actively engage potential customers by offering them the chance to sample Dorset Tea’s distinctive blends alongside the iconic caravan, with Brand Ambassadors available to provide support and information.
These sampling activations are designed to create a memorable experience for both current and potential customers, while also enhancing the brand’s visibility.
Additionally, we aimed to sell boxes of Dorset Tea’s various blends and merchandise on-site, ensuring an immediate return on the brand’s investment.
We strategically used the iconic Dorset Tea-branded caravan as a central hub, which allowed the brand to stand out and be easily recognised at the BBC Gardener’s World Fair 2024. The caravan served as the primary base for serving tea, selling products, sampling iced tea, and storing merchandise.
To enhance the customer experience, iced tea samples were accompanied by sampling cards, offering attendees step-by-step instructions on how to recreate the refreshing drink at home.
Additionally, we negotiated for 5,000 tea sampling boxes to be included in “The Club Lounge” VIP wicker crates and some in the Gardener’s World Goodie bags (please see images), further extending Dorset Tea’s reach and ensuring the brand left a lasting impression on the event’s attendees.
The event was highly successful for the brand, with over 500 “cups of sunshine” served and tonnes of products and merchandise sold. We also gave out over 5,000 sample packets for visitors to take home to try the blend.
Our Brand Ambassadors also gathered invaluable insights for the brand, e.g. how consumers liked Dorset Tea versus competitors, some attendees were interested in creating iced tea, etc.
